I KNOW, this was such a weird bug I couldn't figure out before having to get it submitted...but oh well, it was at least mostly all wrapped up XD

Lol it probably deserved it

This was really good!  I managed to get each difficulty on the first try (Impossible spawned me right next to the little finish coin lmao).  I liked how even though the movement was somewhat random, I felt like I was in control.  The art is also really charming.  Overall, well done!

Welcome to the club

This is already 2D...although a 3D version might be interesting.  Thanks for playing!

Lol I got the joke

Thanks for trying it out!  Yeah, I spent too much time on the art, and the gameplay kinda suffered because of it...  Thanks for rating!

Yeah, the controls kinda suck—I think I focused a lil to much on the art XD

Interesting game!  I couldn't last very long, unfortunately (my mad skillz aren't so mad I guess lol).  I think maybe a tutorial level with some examples of how to play would be great, as it's not very clear at first.  Great game overall!

This is pretty neat game!  I found myself getting really into it, seeing how high in rank I could get the player while battling the other chess pieces.  I like how the background has a bunch of upside down pieces—it's a subtle detail that made me laugh.  Overall, a nice game!

Thanks!  I had fun making it.  :)

Thank you!  I enjoyed making it.  :D

Thanks for your feedback!  Good stuff to know for the next game (or this one, depending...)!

Thanks!  I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Ah!  A bug within a bug!  Thanks for mentioning that, and thanks for playing!

Thanks!  Lol yeah they're going nuts XD

Thanks!  I had fun with it :D

XD Thanks!

Thanks!  I like that, the *Umph* idea, I'll keep it mind!

Thanks for the feedback!  Yeah, I figured I'd focus on the mechanics and the feel of it instead of the graphics for this jam, but I'm planning on doing something ambitious with the art for the next jam :D

Thanks, Herald!  Yeah, if I ever turn this into anything significant I'll half to fine tune that projectiles level lol.  In the mean time I guess, I recommend running like a maniac over to the bridge before it breaks XD.

Thanks!  I'm rather relieved, 'cause I spent only like half an hour working on it.  Glad you liked it!

Thank you!  The code-y tutorial was super fun to do :D

Thanks!

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

:D  Thanks!  Post processing is probably my favorite part of the visual design lol.

This game is interesting!  The idea of keeping the main little character from winning being the goal of the game is really creative!  Good job!

This is a pretty fun game!  It's got a good amount of challenge without being too challenging, which is great!  My score was 640 >:D

Thanks, I'm glad you think so!

XD  Thanks!

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it!  Good luck to you, too!

Thanks!  That helped, I really appreciate it.  :D

Great game!  I loved the visuals for this, and the bugs are extremely well executed!  Thanks btw for adding the walk through in the description, I got stuck at various points lol.  Also, how did you get the first button of a ui element to be automatically selected?  I've been trying to get that mechanic working in various prototypes of mine, and I can't figure it out.  Did you use a tool from the asset store?  If so, I'd love to know which one, 'cause I'm pulling out hair trying to figure it out lol.

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it!  Nah, the bug you found was just poor game design on my part (not a beginner, but far from being an expert lol).  Some of the walls are given a tag(wall) that tells the player to jump even when the jump button isn't pressed - if (hit(wall)) { player.jump = true; }  I'll see if I can fix that lol.  In hindsight, I'm really glad I added that restart button XD.

Heh heh heh, yeah I was worried about that ol' bloom.  For some reason the Universal RP 2D lights weren't working, so I went with the bloom.  Thanks for playing!

Thanks for your feedback!  I might get an update in at some point, so I'll keep that in mind!

Lol yeah I had loads of fun working on it XD.  Fun fact, the jump on touch was an actual bug I encountered mid-development, so I left it in there.  Thanks!

I loved this game!  The controls felt great, the idea worked well, and I gotta be honest I'm a sucker for simple graphics for some reason lol.  Nice work!

Btw I'd love for ya to check out my game, if you don't mind :)  https://itch.io/jam/wowie-jam-2/rate/552768

This is pretty fun!  The puzzles were fun, I'd love to see more in the future!
