I'm normally a lurker & silent supporter of indie games I enjoy, just keeping up with updates ect. But it's a little hard not to post my own thoughts at this point — No matter what you do, there will ALWAYS be criticism.

So what if it's "wattpad slop"? Can we not enjoy that kind of content/game? I know myself & plenty of other people who enjoy trashy content even though it's trash, it's fun! We like it! And just because it's "slop" or "garbage" doesn't mean there isn't something GOOD about it.

People will not like a game,  for no other reason than they just Want to dislike it. Just like how people will look for a reason to dislike someone Just to dislike them. Those sorts of people, are not worth paying attention to.

Put out what YOU like, what YOU enjoy, because it could be absolutely 100% perfect & someone will still find somethin to complain about. So why not just do what you like in the end?

After all, that's how we all got here in the first place. You posted something YOU enjoyed, and people liked it enough to want to see more.

Do what you need to do for your mental health, all i'm trying to say is, don't let your fear of putting out something "bad" or people's criticisms take away your enjoyment. As long as you're satisfied & had fun with your project, that's what matters in the end. Us enjoying it is just a bonus.

The boys/girl version is hard to discover as is. Would try to branch out and just try to market it as much as you can. Otherwise ppl who don't already deep dive into itch.io will have a hard time finding it.

YEESS! THANK YOU DEVS FOR BLESSING US ON THIS DAY!
