Thank you so much for leaving such a thoughtful note - it really means the world to me.

I'm especially glad the editing mechanic resonated with you. That choice of whether or not to revise before sending felt like such a core part of what unsent letters are about... The tension between what we want to say and what we actually send.

I really appreciate you taking the time to play and to share your thoughts. 💜

I had previously put my comments in the wrong thread (whoops) on the actual game page instead of here. Recapping:

I seem to be stuck in a loop. I can't get past the first dilemma because I keep searching for more food and finding a turtle and then we always have a second can of food. I'm forced to choose other options to have it progress. I assumed options would have been taken away to push me along (which does happen sometimes). Otherwise, really great game and concept! People can learn a lot from this.

Your explanation made sense and I know you said you'd consider how you might change it to make it more clear. Overall, we need more games like this and I'm glad you created it. :)

Really cool and promising overall. Some of the terminology was new to me, so it took a bit to get oriented at first. I often found myself guessing where certain things should go, which made the learning curve feel steeper early on.

That said, the user interface is strong, and the pacing works really well. The game moves quickly (almost too quickly), which makes it easy to replay and experiment, similar to Oregon Trail. The visuals were also solid and fit the experience well.

There’s a lot of potential here, especially for something that’s still a demo, and I’d be excited to see how it evolves. :)

Thank you so much! I haven't heard of that game before. I'll be sure to check it out and see how I might apply it. <3 I appreciate you

Thank you so much for trying it out, I really appreciate you spending time with it. :)

At the moment, I don’t have plans to translate it, mostly because I don’t speak other languages well enough to feel confident doing the translations with the care they’d deserve. It’s something I may revisit in the future, though.

You’re absolutely right that it’s very text-forward. I’ve thought about adding small visual touches, but the letters themselves are the heart of the experience, so I’ve been intentional about keeping the focus there. I did try to make them as concise as possible while still letting them breathe.

Thank you again for the thoughtful question, and if you have any suggestions for visuals, I am all ears.

Awesome! I recognized the second one but not the other two. You chose very well!

I did but it still didn't do anything :( It could totally be me, but I just can't seem to get past the first round. Sorry - didn't mean to keep spamming your feed, just wanted to know if I was alone in this but otherwise I think this has a lot of promise!

Ah, I did do that but then it took a while to start and I wasn't clear on if I was supposed to be able to move it myself or what. And I kept clicking which made the animation for the "buffs" was it? But then nothing happened and I always got caught. Oh and I dig the graphics.

This reminds me of the driving game from the like 80s or 90s where it's an entire console for just driving. Is there a list of the speeches? Great job with the dancing snow + engine sound. Took me a minute to figure out how to use the radio, but otherwise, really cool and I appreciate how simple it is.

Interesting music! Very game-y. I can't seem to get the controls to work and once I'm in the settings, I can't get out. Not even if I hit escape or the X. Seems very promising, though!

Thank you so much for sharing this with me! I’m really glad the experience could offer some release and leave you feeling a little lighter. It means a lot to know it arrived when you needed it. 💜

That’s really kind of you to say. I’m glad the letters could hold you a little. I love you, friend. 💜

Thank you SO much for your kind words — that really means a lot. 💜 The game actually got a big update today and now includes all 12 letters (the final total), along with some small revisions to the original six for consistency. I saw your comment while I was wrapping things up, and it truly warmed my heart. Thank you again.
