that’s awesome feedback, thank you so much. I will have to put some time in after this jam to implement that

thanks for playing! Sound is on my list of things to learn soon. Right after animation.

You'll slide off if you get hit by too many projectiles

Neat mashup. Art is top notch.

Really loved how many concepts you include. Wish the title screen palette reflected the main game, would have been really neat.

Enjoyed the controls and physics, nicely done.

Thanks for playing! I wanted to try something different based off some less traditional bullet hells I'd seen recently.

Enjoyed the gameplay.

Easily the best one I've planned so far. I particularly liked the use of powerups to add chaos and instability. Smart use of third party assets to deliver a great game in a jam.

Kinda sick tbh. I really liked how the bullets synced up with the music so well.

Audio 10/10. Fun little game, I enjoyed the upgrading the most.

Classic Bullet hell, love the difficulty!

I really love the graphics, nice polish over everything. I ended up just spamming space to run away until my shield regenerated, it'd be nice if killing enemies helped restore shield.

Fun idea could do with a little more visual appeal OR better gameplay. Simple implementation that has potential.

The art is really cool and very nice job on the ui/ux elements. I like the irony of a bee suffering from capitalism.

I really like the simple graphics style and reactive game play. Nicely done.

I appreciate the feedback! I agree, the game needs more depth. Unfortunately I only had time for the core mechanic.

i really wanted the focus to be on navigating the stage and dodging rather than aiming, but you're right.

Thanks for playing and for the feedback! The visual style is referred to as 2.5D or isometric and its a super easy way to get a little more visual appeal out of a game.

Sorry about my choice of colors. I'll make sure I put in a high contrast mode or preference higher contrast colors in future games. Yeah, I'd have loved to have put more into this but only had a few hours to spare.

Thanks for playing!

Thanks! I'm kinda proud of the chess section. Its simple but fun depending on where the target square is.

Thanks for playing and for the feedback! I didn't have much time for this jam unfortunately so I tried to boil down the idea to its bare minimum. You're right though, the AI is a randomly generated score so you're really playing against yourself tbh.
