As saturated as the platformer scene is, this game still finds its own flavor of the flipping mechanic! Very good level design, enjoyed the play.

Engaging idea, elegantly simple, and efficient while not compromising on polish. Which direction the character faces is a little bit finnicky for me, I personally think making the character turn slowly if the player spams space might be a good addition. Really fun entry!

The sounds effects and art on this one are peak! I would suggest adding an outline to the shirukens to make them stand out from the background more. The character is near the top of the screen which makes parrying shirukens from above a bit difficult, though I can see this be utilized as part of the game design as well.

Thanks for the comment! You can actually parry enemies if you attack just before they attack, but yeah I didn’t introduce this mechanic properly.
