I suspect it has to do with high-dpi displays. I noticed that Jpenguin7 was using a macbook during development, which uses a high-dpi display. Your game engine might have an option to disable high DPI mode, or handle that scaling properly. My display is NOT high-dpi, so I had to zoom my browser for it to mimic a macbook display
