i love doomed yuri!!
jokes aside, this is such a great VN. I get sleepy reading VNs especially if the story is too convoluted, but I was super invested the entire time. I would love a longer version of this, maybe padding out the time the group works together so as to make the (spoilers) betrayal feel more impactful and sad. Plus, as others have requested, more choices to be made. It is a little sad that the ending is bittersweet and open ended, but it makes sense for a jam! It's clear there was a lot of love put into the artwork and writing. Big respect!
I love the simple graphics and the use of text for sounds and 'blood' etc. is really clever.
Someone else mentioned about the text boxes which I'd have to agree. If the game pauses to show them, it might be better to display them in more of a visual novel fashion? like center bottom of the screen, to be clicked through. I think it would match the style of the game as well.
I got to a room with a lot of people and got zoomed into first person which totally threw me off, and i was not quite sure what to do... needless to say when i died it absolutely WAS a skill issue LOL
this is a neat concept and I think it has some wonderful stylistic choices, very strong premise. Cant say ive seen anything like it
This game is really neat. The visuals and voicing are quite creepy and I love the ticking clock sound that adds a sense of anxiety.
When I got to the part where the entity says 'I was like you once' the text started speeding up very fast, and the voice audio restarted halfway through, overlaying and playing on top of one another. The hand graphics appeared and seemed to do their thing properly, but then I got stuck.
I hope that info will help with bug fixing! I would love to see this worked on more. Good job!!
'oh god!' i said out loud as a swarm of zombies ran (walked) at me
This is really neat. I can't say I'm good at it. But I do want to come back and play more. I love the sounds, especially the digging. The combat was a little hard for me but I think I'm actually just bad - likely I just need to play more and get a hang of it. It fits the theme really well. Great job!
