Great game. 99% of servers are low quality but you could expect that.

Who else has found this through visiting the darkbits website linked in the credits when downloading B.A.L.L.Z. from the Debian repos?
I know I'm 4 years late but you could use WINE for running Windows executables on Linux if you can't compile it.
EDIT: WINE boots the game up but the controls don't work, so compile time!
