First things first, I absolutely ADORED this game – not only is it sweet, funny and clever, but I can’t believe how polished and immersive it is for a 1 month solo-dev project???
The characters are well-written and super appealing, and I just wanted to squash their faces with delight every other line (though I doubt many of them would appreciate it) 😭
The artwork is also lovely – the expressions and animations make the characters feel very real, and the pacing of how the dialogue works with the animations is super impressive.
The plot is really intriguing, I felt drawn into the story right away and also enjoyed replaying to get the different endings. Just a heads up for future players though, the scope of the project means you can’t expect to get ALL the answers from this universe, so remember to manage your expectations a little.

A really lovely game – so sweet and funny (although be warned, some sad themes too) and then some peril mixed in at the end! I loved all the main characters, but ESPECIALLY our protagonist, Takuma, I just wanted the best for him!!
Honestly I fell in love with him from his very first line AND first sprite, which both sets the tone for the game and are hilarious. A++++ character introduction.
I give this game ten out of ten 'Awkward Conversation Starters'.
Absolutely loved this game, it may be short but it made a real impression! The narration is hilarious, the characters are delightful and I was sorry to part from them!
Also loved the super expressive artwork - Chet’s mean eyebrows and Sol’s awkward smiles are A+++.
