Sorry for the late reply. May I know which platform you are playing on?
If you are playing on the web version, I cannot fix that issue since it is due to limitations in the browser.
The browser will stop the music automatically if it cannot "hear" the player's input in time. 
Playing on the Windows version should have no such problem.
Feel free to let me know if you experience the same issue in the Windows version.

Actually, in my mind, this track will be played when there are not many activities in the game, for example, the player is just wandering around the city. Therefore I think the music can take over a little bit, instead of pure ambient.
