I recently got this game and so excited to try it out!!:)
I may be reading too much into it but I'm abit confused with one section in the core book. On the section for lowering the bar under "play it safe" it says,
"...if the bar is also marked, you may forego either the positive stake or the chance to advance the clock...When you play it safe, do not collect one or both of the positive results, even if you succeed at your play."
Does this mean regardless what I chose to forego I won't get either?
