Bruh, the vast majority of adult/NSFW game discord servers I've seen have been locked behind some sort of subscription. Occasionally they'll have like one channel where non-subscribers can chat, but the rest of the server is locked to them. The other replies have already explained why a lot of them do that.

I'm currently downloading two other games that are around 10GB a piece from itch directly. They might charge a hosting fee above a certain size or something similar that Caribdis can't afford or just doesn't want to pay for.

 I see this all the time with game mods on mod sites that have built-in virus scanners. One scanner will pop on tons of mods, but if you download the file and run it through a dedicated service like Malwarebytes it will come back clean. I think it has something to do with the way certain game files are stored in your system folders that some overly sensitive malware scanners false flag.

Well that answers that question lol. Never really used itch so I hadn't done any digging when I asked about this version on the new one's page.

Any chance you'll put a download up for the old version of KMC? I found the game through a flash site that has the old version up and was really excited to get more of it. I wasn't looking for a damn visual novel lol
