Looks like I found the match:

my betaflight rates settings:

RC Rate: 1

Rate: 0.8

RC Expo: 0.2

this gives the max rate of 1000

I overlaid a graph from FPV Freerider over a scaled screenshot from calculator at rates.metamarc.com, and found a match with following settings:

Max rates: 1000 (it's actually 1003 from Snappy3 preset, I can't make it precise with a slider)

Expo: 0.2

Superexpo: 0.8

My conclusion:

looks like your superexpo is BF Rate, and your Expo is BF RC Expo :)

With this graph overlay thing I was able to tune the drones to behave same across different sims :)

Hi :-)

I agree on the point, I'm also very much into the old cars with their mechanical marvels or simple simplicity.

But with the new season of IGOW, muscle memory and timings in turns are quite important.  The official betaflight page on rates has a link to a nice calculator, it also has the formulas: www.desmos.com/calculator/r5pkxlxhtb

As an alternative, maybe you can tell which model do you use? So that I set up my quads in a similar way. Every one I tried differs ever so slightly.

FPV Freerider community · Created a new topic Actual rates

Good day! Is it possible to add Actual rates?

It seems to be the current fashionable thing :-)

They've been with us for a while, they are quite intuitive, and seem to be even easier to implement than other types.

I saw there were numerous requests to implement different kinds of rates in the past, but our hopes are still high.
