Thank you so much for a very detailed, thoughtful feedback. I understand and agree with all of them. This is extremely helpful as I move on to expand this game, thanks a lot!!!!

thank you for playing. Movement will be my focus for a while as I continue to develop this game!

The sprinting might be the worst mistake I made, I coded it as a toggle on/off. Anyways, thanks a lot for playing and for the feedback.

thanks!!

Thanks for the feedback, I did not spend too much time on hitboxes... I will definitely work on it later.

Im glad you liked the ending. I king of rushed it and wanted to make it better but oh well. I will try really hard to make a full version of the game with even better ending!

Thank you so much, it means a lot to me. I am still new at animating, I will keep on working on improving them!!

Thanks for playing. I will try to polish some of the buggy controls...

Thank you so much!!

Thank you so much for the helpful feedback. Core mechanics and feel can definitely be improved further, and I will work on that for the next few weeks. I also agree with the sounds and also music to make it fit into a retro style while still being unique.

Yes, I will be working on this and aim to publish it in 1 - 2 years time. Stay tuned!!

thank you! Im glad you liked my take on the theme. Maybe I was a little too unforgiving in platforming

Thanks for your insights. I do agree the tutorial is not good enough. And yes, semi open world thing might be possible but also too much for a solo dev like me, lol

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I think I had a bit of a scope creep and tried adding too much and ended up being a little rough. Now that the submission is over, I will work on polishing both movements and combat for a while. Thanks for playing!

Thank you. Im happy you enjoyed it despite the janky controls.

Well almost everyone that played the game mentioned the bad movement controls, so I guess I will be working on that for a while. Thank you a lot for the feedback! Im glad you enjoyed it.

I loaded the game and started downloading the game. Average game downloading experience.

I dont really know what was going on but I cleared it. The physics is cool

The art and music were really good. The entire experience, including the story, doing tasks, feeding maxwell and so on, was very polished and nice. The air duct puzzle in the beginning felt too difficult though.

Thanks for playing. I definitely need to improve movement.

Thank you so much for the positive feedback. It means a lot!

Thanks, the graphics for the desktop version, not this web version, is a lot better than this - I will probably post that once the jam ends!

Thank you so much. Movement probably has the biggest room for improvement, I will keep that in mind as I continue development. I appreciate the feedback

I really like the art style. The gameplay is fun too, and once I got the hang of each mechanics it got pretty intense. It would be nice if the hitbox of rats get a bit bigger.

Thanks for the feedback. I will definitely work on better controls around combat.

Good and simple idea, and it offers good depth too as things like power buttons gets introduced, and levels are designed in a way that it first introduces a component for the player to understand, without explicit tutorial. I think the whole experience is very polished, and the cute art style makes it cozy and nice.

I would say the story/narrative is interesting and somewhat unexpected. Could use a lot more polish on art and controls for sure.

I enjoyed the art and music from this game. It is a unique platformer for sure! One thing though, is a small in-game tutorial would have been nice, as I did not read the tutorial at first and struggled to open the door.

Unique take on the clicker genre games, with polished art, music + sfx. Some upgrades like seven zeros are quite interesting, good little game!!

Cool game, it took me a while to figure out what to do, but once I did it was a fun experience. The paper shredding minigame is really difficult.

I also really liked the background music with piano in it!

Thank you so much. I will work hard to deliver a good vertical slice of the game as a demo sometime soon.

Thank you so much for the positive feedback. I definitely messed up on tutorials and controls, which need a lot more polish indeed.

Thank you so much. Yes, I wanted to make it cinematic, and I am happy I kind of succeeded. When I turn this into a full game, I wish to do more of those!!

I really like the dialogue and how you used rhyming so much. It is so creative!!!

Thanks, I am so happy someone else likes classical music in video games.

The slam attacks aim at the player constantly, so you have to run away with dash. I should probably change that part, well its too late.

Tight scoping played out well for this game I suppose, its a small, complete game. Very fun.

I already new it was going to be good when I looked at the start menu UI. I really like the retro art style.

As for the game play, it is pretty good once I got the hang of it, but I think the tutorial could be better.

This game uses the countdown theme really well in my opinion. There is a lot of decisions player have to make constantly, such as charging up the magic thingy for attack, or spamming it to move away from enemies. And the art is very well made and cute as well.

One thing I noticed is the sound effects of the attacks, which can get repetitive at times. So maybe more variation on the sfx would be great.

I dont really know what the game is about, but it is pretty funny and scary to be chased around by a big red thingy.

I think there are a lot of rooms for improvement, and i think it simply lacks explanation, content and depth, like adding sprinting, jumps, platformers, obstacles etc.

Cool idea, and a good use of the theme in my opinion.
