Pretty wholesome (mostly) game that seems inspired by the investigation parts of Ace Attorney with a pirate aesthetic. Story was intriguing the whole way, good soundtrack that was also used well, cute 2D art with everything interactable standing out, and having 3D models was a nice touch.
The whole game (demo?) felt really professionally made quality-wise!
The way (you) is written in the description was a good way to hint the game will interact with me the player but I wasn't sure what to expect (creepy, funny, something else ?).
Well after playing it I can say I really liked how it's done! Not understanding what Amelie is talking about scared me just enough without going full psychological horror, it felt deserved to finally get an explanation along with them getting their good ending. Glad I helped those two~
Not sure if it's intentional but sometimes I felt Amelie sprites were looking at me instead of Michi. And at the beginning of the game I immediately restarted and named myself Michi (and Amelie) to see what would happen, it's a nice touch you thought about that lol
This was so sweet I wish chickens were real
But for real I loved the story with the extra content to wrap things up, loved the artstyle, loved melting my heart (or feeling embarrassed lol) alongside them, loved the small details like the soundtrack getting quieter and the main menu changing, everything is so well done ♡
