This game is very spooky and it fits quite well into the theme.
The visuals need some work, but the sound and atmosphere are amazing!
Great game overall, very nice job. I would have enjoyed it more if it was a bit easier though.
Also I found a bug: sometimes the spikes that block the door are invisible, but they still kill you.
I had so much fun playing this haha (especially on the phone call with the dog)

It's funny because the background is my least favorite art in the game, it was extremely rushed.
I'm really glad you enjoyed the visuals though, and don't worry, the difficulty will be my first priority when I update the game!
I wanted to make the game short and easy for the sole purpose that this is a game jam and the average playtime is only a few minutes (sometimes seconds).
If this becomes an actual game, longer and more complicated levels (with comeback possibility, specific level gimmicks, etc) are 100% going to be implemented.

The idea of hovering over the souls in order to collect them seems much more intuitive, I'll definitely implement that!

One thing that was frustrating was the fact that I couldn't see the shape of the blocks before placing them.

I actually had fun playing the game, but I feel like a lot of levels seem more complicated than they actually are.
Visuals are great, sounds as well.
The trajectory line feels a bit too long and can confuse you when the platforms are moving.
But overall, great game, I hope you had fun making it!
This game was really fun, the horde mechanic is implemented very well!
Graphics are great, the environment is well made and I like the low poly aesthetic. And there are plenty of zombie/human models, so repetitiveness doesn't seem like a problem.
The only problem that I really have with the game is that I feel like the cops are shooting from too far away, but overall it was a great experience.
Also, that main menu is amazing lol
This is a great game, I almost managed to finish it!
The art is cute, simple but effective, level design is solid and there are many levels too!
Unfortunately it was a bit too hard towards the end and it is missing some sound effects (at least for jumping and clearing a level).
But overall, great job, this is my favorite game from this jam at the moment!
Epic Monster Alliance was definitely made with the idea of mobile in mind.
I do agree that at the moment it's a bit too simple, but keep in mind that it was made in under a week!
But don't worry, more characters are coming in future updates!

Oh, you're right, I think this might be the fix.
I usually find myself with too many units on the screen and they just end up blocking each other and bugging out.
So making them harder to get, but more powerful definitely makes sense.

Nice game! Good level design, music and cute character (also extra points for having bananas as collectibles lol).
I think you can improve the magnet mechanic, it feels a bit clunky at the moment. Other than that, great job!

The level design is great!
Especially the "Booby Trap" level.
Short, enticing, but simple gameplay, perfect for a game jam entry!
The sprite for the cherries could need some work, though!
Maybe even choose another fruit? A ball-like fruit that would abide to the theme more.
Overall, a great job, I had fun playing it and I hope that you had fun making it!
The level progression is indeed a bit too harsh, but with only 10 available levels I thought that the last few have to be challenging.
They are meant to be replayed a few times before you complete them.
