We don’t have any recorded play of the game so far. In fact, we haven’t played this current edition that much yet—it’s more of an adaptation of a few one-shots we’ve run with other systems, where we brought some of those ideas into this manual. We’d love to develop it further in the future, so if you get to try it out, feel free to contact me and share your experience!

Thanks! You start with all stats at 0. In Step 1, choosing your monster gives a +1 to one stat and a –1 to another (leaving the third at 0). Then, in Step 3, you assign your own +1, 0, and –1 freely on top of those values. This means you could end up with things like all stats at 0, or a +2 with two –1s, or a +2, 0, and –2, or a –2 with two +1s. That said, now that you mention it, I can see how this could be confusing. For a second revision, we’ll probably change the order or explain it more clearly.
