Hi! Thanks for trying out the game. That does seem like a strange issue. I recreated the issue myself and it seems to be an easyRPG quirk.
However, I have been able to fix the issue. You can check out the latest version of the game (1.1.4 or later) and you should not see this issue any more.
Do keep in mind that at some points in the game, the textbox is supposed to be at the top, so don't worry about those moments. However, regular text, such as that for the UI LIST, should display normally now.

To address your points:
>1. i got the outer wall key but i don't know where to use it or if i already used it somehow
This key is part of normal progression and is used somewhere in the wall. If you encountered no doors that asked for it, that means you've always had it in your inventory when it was necessary.
>2. i never figured out how to get to the blue mansion in the snow area. i have two 1/2 litre snake oils but they dont seem to do anything either
A bit of exploration should reveal how to enter the mansion. However, be warned, after fuzzy cat has joined you, this sidequest is no longer available!
3. i also have no idea how to unlock the seawater treatment facility
Regular exploration should take you through the entire area.
4. i never fought the giant anime girl from that one screenshot on the main page if that's possible
The fight is in the gamefiles but inaccessible atm- part of a scrapped sidequest, the implementation of which was later deemed non essential. A future update could see this fight return.
5. also from the main page screenshots, i never found that office looking area
It's should have been accessible during control of Tabby cat... had I connected the area. It contains no essentials, though.
>6. is there any way to get unbanned from the south coast
Not at the moment, I did not think players would be interested in this. However, since you are not the only one asking about this, I will implement this.

This one will require a bit of exploration within the wall!
The two issues were things I overlooked, so I fixed them for the newest release (available for DL now).

I am sorry to have disappointed you. The reason you experienced this error is because I messed up. I made Tabby cat transfer out of the tower too early! This means that there is a sequence break and you experience a soft lock. My bad!
I uploaded a new download for the game where this is fixed. However, you will need to load a previous save, one where you are still in the tower, to continue the game after updating it. Sorry!
ALERT: In this case, you can find your save file in the appdata. Be sure to copy it somewhere else, reinstall the game, and copy your old save file back to where it was. This will let you continue the game as normal without having to start over from the beginning.
