it’s the d4 hex from the region map 

the hex exploration rolls are all inclusive. The first table rolled on determines whether there’s an encounter or not. 

I am not digitally proficient. I took mine into a printer and had it done. 

carved in rubber yeah. For anything larger than .5” they work well.  

Aelwine and Tarvannion definitely are. Black March is the borderland east of my own Kragov setting (you can google it for a free keyed hex map) 

Funny enough, Kragov, Black March etc share the world of Kal-Arath. The northerners call the great steppe The Kyrg, and people from there “Kyrgan.” 

Though the natives call themselves “Arathi.”

yeah they can be statted however! I use the basic nomad stat usually

these PDFs are print ready and all are divisible by 4. Selecting “print as booklet” should be just fine.

yes it’s designed more to begin capping hp later on. 6d6 averages around 18-20. 

6d6 ensures that HP bloat is avoided and keeps the game extremely challenging!

for Tarvannion, I’ve used with b/x, Shadowdark and ODND. It’s pretty system neutral. Like a dark and gritty LOTR sort of feel. Magic is uncommon in my games in this setting though.

I use one per pact. In a supplemental magic thing I’m working on there’s a new arcane failure table that can also result in a new doom. I agree it’s not clear enough in the core.
