I mean, in act 2, Yuri also says she will start touching herself while reading your poem repeatedly and that she's done dirty things with your pen.

Is it possible to get the game in full screen? Because sometimes when I click around, I accidentally select the game (in the same way one selects text) and it causes me to lose.
Otherwise it's a really nice concept, props to you!

TELL ME WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU SHOOT IT IF YOU DON'T TELL ME I WILL SHOOT IT THE NEXT TIME I SEE IT BECAUSE I SIMPLY NEEEEEEEEEEEEEED TO KNOW

Does splattering paint everywhere using G actually affect the paintings? I know it's a stupid question and it's probably no, but I need to make sure before I start tearing the place up lol

First of all, when you reply to this don't spoil me too much. I'm like 10 hours into the game but I'm not done. I think I'm at the beginning of act 3?? (if I'm not wrong)

I payed attention to the content warning, though I went in blind. It was 13+ not 18+. As a rule of thumb 13+ to me means either:
- Strong language (swear words)

- Sexual innuendo, or just talking about the subject

- Blood and gore.

I immediately ruled out blood and gore. I mean, LOOK AT IT. Do those four cute anime girls look like blood and gore?? So I immediately assumed it was because of the character designs and the premise of the game, which to my mind, still was dating. Extremely ironing looking back.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE IF YOU RESPOND TO THIS DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT SPOIL ME I'M NOT DONE WITH THE GAME!!!

That's what I did lol. Because of YOUR comment. I had heard of the game before but I really didn't know ANYTHING about it, not even seen clips, just the name. I was about to download the game out of curiosity but scrolled down to the comments first to see if it was any good. I saw this, and told myself "You know WHAT?? That's what I'm gonna do, go in blind!" Basally, I told myself that since I already recognized the name, that it MUST be a decent game.

I haven't finished the game yet (I'm right after Monika literally deleted herself ; and yes, I've been obsessively playing the game since I downloaded) but I'll tell you of my experience so far.

At first I didn't know why going in blind was such a big deal. After all, it was just a silly little romance visual novel. I still really liked reading the other characters poems, peeping into their personality. I thought that was the whole point of the game. At this point, I would've given it somewhere between a 6 and a solid 7 out of ten. I found the Yuri sucking your finger scene really cringe and that's what made me lean more to a 6. That's all.

At some point I looked up "Sayori" on google and clicked on the images tab. I wanted to make sure of something related to her character design. The first image: Sayori hanging herself. At first I thought that was fanart some fans had made out of some weird sadistic fetish (I still thought this was romance game for weeb pedos, as sayori and natsuki look really really young to me). But then, the game started taking a darker turn with the Bottles poem and all. When she disappeared after I rejected her, I knew. I somehow wish I hadn't found that picture of Sayori. I wonder how I would've reacted without this accidental prior knowledge.

Anyways, I thought Sayori had become the villain: The one who messed with the game files, and I believed she was hunting the game and wanted to kill Monika next. That is, become once when opening the game, it told me to back up Monika's file. I also thought SHE was the one putting all those disturbing things in Yuri's mouth.

Natsuki has been pretty quiet so far, but I feel like the Papa poem was from her. She said the club was her haven, that it's the only place she feels at home at (I'm paraphrasing). Anyways, looking forward to see how the game plays out without Monika's interference.

edit: yeah i'm done with the game lol

yep I love it too

I know this is late but private key is the 4rth key which is should be somewhere on the bottom right of the graveyard, surrounded by a fence. There you will find the 5th key, the last (forgot what its called) and only THEN, you will be able to get to the last building-thingy.

This reminds me so much of my days as a 13 year-old fanfiction reader. I didn't know fanfiction was something I still needed in my life omg. And the game ended at exactly the right time, just when I started getting bored, all like "JUST DO IT. CONFESS. EVEN MY SORRYY COWARDLY ASS WAS ABLE TO DO IT IT'S NOT THAT HARD YOU &%@#!" It's also amazing how much one can do with just 4 colors, it's actually impressive.

Impressiveee

...thank you for this game. I'll definitely remember it for the rest of my life. I don't know what to say other than thanks, again.

you're supposed to get all of the 4 dead ends, then the true end will play automatically. If you got an explosion with an item you should try again cause the explosion actually is a random occurence from what i can see

The randomness of explosions was actually a bit frustrating. Also it would be nice to have items interact which each other. Remember the glued pens? What if you could unglue them using the scissors? However I really liked the foreshadowing in the text box. But I do agree with another commenter in that the intro should only play on your first attempt. Otherwise it's just a waste of time.

Also what were the hidden words when you clicked on the sign again? I wasn't able to figure it out.

Could you make the pause menu cover the whole board? Otherwise it's easy cheating your way around the 2 minute timer. Other than that, this is the kind of simple, ingenious, game concept I wish I would've thought of, even though I'm not a game dev. Also, I got 69 on my first try, which is really nice imo.

This is not a game, it's an experience :) What I feel right now, after having completed the story, is exactly the feeling of having overcome the climax of a moving... well, movie! Today felt rather gloomy for me today. Still, I did what I knew best in such boredom, booted up my PC and went on an internet adventure, as I call them. 0 regret. Made my day, really.

Bless you! You are a talented storyteller, never forget that.
