I think this is by far my favorite game ive played yet, i've been playing for 40 minutes lol. When I first played it I didn't know you could use A/D to move the parts. I beat it by perfectly timing all the drops. So then I had to play again after that. And now I'm spamming parts and crashing the game. Amazing.
My only complaint is that you can't watch your ship keep going after reaching the moon. Nothing even needs to be up there, I just wanna watch it fly!
Super fun concept!! I bet you can come up with some great strategies but I just want to scribble lines with the fuse. I felt the spike traps were hard to take advantage of for how expensive they were, so I rarely used them. I enjoyed building with the blocks,
The pixel art is very authentic to that 90's style, it really feels like some game that was released on some obscure console/a random console addon that got 2 games. Especially with the font, the full-screen artworks, and the scrimblo character design.
I had to click when I saw that god damn egg.
This game activates my fight or flight response. I just sit there, staring at the screen like a deer in headlights. I cannot get any words. I fall to my death as the Egg taunts me.
Great work, love the art and general vibe, even if I totally suck at the gameplay.
This is a great concept!! I would love to see some more levels and enemies.
I think it's a missed opportunity that you don't keep your limbs when moving to the next level. I think that would have made it more fun since you'd be getting more powerful after each stage, and are now made up of a bunch of wacky parts.
The characters are very nice looking. They remind me of scribblenauts, which is cool and works perfect for this limb-swapping idea.
Great stuff!
It feels nice to play and the visuals are good, but the note charts you play are very boring and repetitive. It's the same loop of notes for all 2ish minutes of the songs.
If there just wasn't time to flesh out all the songs, I totally get it, that's fine, but it might have been better to focus all the time to make 1 very fun song rather than stretch yourselves thin across multiple songs.
Anyway, I like the spooky vibe, the marionette and the big hands looming over, and the songs themselves are nice. The combo system is a nice touch. Good work everyone!
This is a really cool idea! It's fun parrying the spells and sending them back at the enemies.
I'm having a hard time parrying the arced spells, and I haven't got past the second level because of that.
The visuals are great, I love the prerendered 3D style. The character designs are a lot of fun. I like the concept of a trash wizard fighting the wizard police.
I'd be interested in an expanded version of the game!
This looks cool! I like the procedural map and the enemy AI.
Unfortunately I have no idea what I'm doing. It probably would make more sense to someone who plays RTS games. Also on my first two runs I was placed on a dinky little island with hardly any resources.
But as a prototype, this is very cool!
