Only major issue I had was almost none of the equipment icons showed for me, except for potions everything was just a black square. I had to mouse over things to see what they were :(
When the cat unlocked the phone call told me about the fan instead.
Also don't know if this is an exploit, but if you don't completely scratch off the worms you can just take the apple profits and run. Same with Lucky Cat as long as you get at least one profitable uncover.
