That’s a really great idea. The only challenge is that creating full animations (all directions, frames, etc.) takes quite a lot of time for each character. But it’s something I really want to work on in the coming months.

You're absolutely right, the separate "castle background no parallax" file was missing from the zip.

There was a mismatch in the license information. I’ve now updated the settings to reflect the correct license: the asset pack can be used in both free and commercial projects, with no attribution required.

As for the file format, you will receive the assets in .png format and aseprite format.

You're absolutely welcome to use my fantasy assets in your novel (and combining them with other creators' images is totally fine too). I really appreciate the credit!

I use a local generative tool to create rough bases, which I then fully rework and polish by hand. That’s why you can find these assets under the tag “Generative AI” on Itch.io.

Unfortunately, on Itch.io, access to new packs in a bundle isn’t automated. Feel free to add me on Discord: captainskeleto, I’ll see what I can do to help.

The only way to work around this issue would be for me to create a single pack in the bundle that includes all the packs, and then update it as new content is added. This might take a bit of time, but it’s something I’ll look into doing in the future. Thank you for your understanding!

All the tiles are 32x32. I originally planned to go bigger (64x64) but it was taking a monstrous amount of time to complete. So, I decided to stick with the 32x32 format to make things more manageable.

Yes, they're different raccoons, but at the moment there's no different face for each of them. I'll try when I have a little more time to come back on some portrait packs :)
