Lizardkins? Interesting idea! I just did a quick test with about 80 images.
I’m a bit of a beginner with scalies, so I wasn't sure what the "correct" look was. But when I used Pony with prompts like (scalie, anthro, lizard, scales, lizard tail, slit pupils, snout, sharp teeth, green scales), I actually managed to generate a proper lizardkins! That's amazing!
However, I ran into two big problems:
- There's a lot of character inconsistency across different armors—way more than usual.
- It might not work well on certain models. If a player uses a model without the right training data, the results might just end up disappointing them.
But honestly, that "model dependency" issue might be the biggest wall for adding non-human races right now. 😅
Btw, if you type those Lizardkin prompts into the "Custom Prompt" (free text) field, it actually generates them in the game right now! So for these kinds of races, I might just leave it up to the players to experiment freely with the custom prompts.
