Got this during crowdfunding. I was not familiar with the TriCube Tales system but was very intrigued by the premise. The game is very well designed and laid out, very readable. The thing I'd love to tell those curious/interested but not sure about picking this up is that there is a surprising amount of emotional depth/complexity baked into the premise, allowing play from the wacky/gonzo that might immediately spring to mind to the more serious and even melancholy if you want to lean into some of the trucker/class aspects. Whenever I leave this laying out someone picks it up and starts flipping though it because the concept is such grabber, and they inevitably seem impressed. If you buy this you will be glad you did! Ran this on Friday for some brand new FIST recruits. A lot of fun. I supplemented the pamphlet with a mix of WWII/Cold War location / equipment photos and some interiors from some Hammer films. The endgame turned out to be a bit less challenging than the rest of the adventure due to a randomly generated PC's specific ability, but we had a PC death along the way and easily could have had more had the dice come up differently, which kept things enjoyably tense. PC reinsertion was fun and flavorful. 5/5 Great job.
