Hi Hartax1984, thanks for your interest!
Great questions — let me clarify both points:
Maps: The 22 maps aren't printable battle maps. Each one is a campaign entry (objective, enemies, and boss for that stage), and the Game Master describes the scene. The artwork covers the heroes, enemies, and bosses — not the terrain.
Movement: It's fully narrative + dice ("theater of the mind") — no tokens, grid, or miniatures. On your turn you move through the scene as the GM describes it, and everything resolves with 1d6 + your attribute (4–6 succeeds), within a 15-turn timer per map. All you need is a single d6, paper, and a pencil.
On top of the tabletop rules, there's also a browser version in the works, and single-player modes against AI bots are on the roadmap — so you'll be able to enjoy the Dark Cave solo too.
Thanks again for checking out Caverna Sombria!
