I'm not sure what you mean by background music of the main interface, but all of the music used in the game is linked under "credits" in the game's main menu. Hopefully you can find the track you're looking for.

As of right now, we are not sure. We don't have a translator at the moment, and each release might have major revisions to existing scripts, so we're planning to wait at least until the game is complete. Thanks for your interest in our game!

The main content for the next update has been written (about 50k words) and we are currently in the editing process. After that, it'll take some time to develop the visual assets and put everything together, but we're hoping to have the next release sometime this year. Thanks for your inquiry!

Sorry, we aren't planning to publish on Steam because of the platform fee. As hobbyist devs, itch.io is the easiest way for us to distribute a free game. Thanks for your interest! :)

All you have to do is unzip the folder you downloaded and then run PERIHELION.exe which is in the very first folder you click into. Hope that helps, let me know if you run into any more issues

Sorry about that, it turns out the error is exclusive to the itch.io app and was caused by me forgetting to mark each download with which OS it's for. Please try again and let me know if you run into any more issues!

Really sorry about all the difficulties and thanks for giving it a chance. If you're still interested in the game, I've uploaded it here in google drive to hopefully get around itch.io's issues, the files are exactly the same as what this page should be giving you.

Hmm you shouldn't need to choose a file since each option (mac/pc) only contains one zip file... can you post a screenshot of the download pop up window that you're getting? No one else has reported this issue so far and I've tested that the download works on firefox, chrome, and edge, so it might be something to do with your browser on your end. Sorry you've been having issues with this, if I can't get the itch.io download to work I might be able to send you a github download link to play the game.

To clarify, are you seeing no download options at all or just no download for windows specifically? If it's the latter, then that's intended- the PC download will work for both windows and linux.
