Hey everyone! I'm hard at work on a tutorial sequence that will walk you through the game mechanics when you first start the game. Until then I know there isn't really a way to know how to play, so I wanted to detail some of the mechanics here:

Objective:
Defeat the other player! Tactic Legends is a PvP game, meaning every match is vs. another player somewhere in the world. You can play a ranked match which uses an automatic matchmaking system, or a private match which allows you to send a join code to someone or join up with someone waiting for an opponent in your friends list.

Ranked matches:
This is the primary way to play Tactic Legends and how you can earn gold, gems, and discover new items. Its used in this mode will be consumed and gone forever, and your items can be stolen by Koji as well!. You'll earn 100 gold for each kill, and the winner will receive a bonus of 10 gems. Each player has a turn timer and if the clock hits 0, you automatically lose. Playing ranked matches will award you a skill rating and place you on the leaderboards and the results of each match are automatically posted to the Discord in the Battle-Log channel.

Private matches:
There is no turn timer in this mode, and items used or stolen are returned to you at the end of the match. This mode is best to play for fun with friends or practice without having to worry about consuming any of your precious items. There are no rewards for playing private matches.

Controls:
Right now the controls simulate the mobile controls, so its essentially mouse only. You can left click to select and move the camera, mouse wheel to zoom in and out.
During your turn, you can click on your character to rotate the direction they're facing.

Turn order:
- Each character has a specific speed stat which determines who goes first. If two characters exist that have the same speed, then who goes first will be random.
- Each turn, characters gain +! ability points up to a maximum of 6. Each ability has a different point cost associated with it. Some items and abilities can restore AP.
- Each turn you can move, use an item, and attack OR use an ability. If you use an offensive item, you will not be able to attack or use an ability.

Combat:
- When attacking, a quicktime event (QTE) meter will appear with a random position of 'sweet spots'. The meter will cycle twice before defaulting to 'MISS' or 'WEAK' attack, so be sure to act quickly and click anywhere to stop the meter.
- Red = MISS, Orange = WEAK, Yellow = OK, Green = Strong, Blue = Critical
- You gain a +! AP bonus when landing a critical hit, allowing you to access your abilities faster.
- You CANNOT land a critical hit when attacking from the front of an enemy
- Attacking from the sides will make the meters speed random, while attacking from the fast will always be the fastest (hardest) meter. Attacking from behind an enemy will have the slowest (easiest) meter.

Shop:
The item shop will only sell limited quantities of items you've previously owned. To discover new items, open loot boxes or play ranked mode!
