On Android, when you exit the game (without closing it) it disappears and is not in the list of open applications, I need to reopen the app from the icon to reopen it.
It's not a big problem because it closes automatically if it is not reopened. But still kinda weird
I don't know if this can work but... I had a similar problem with another application that I downloaded from itch.io and the easiest option was to download the new version (without uninstalling the application) And from there it tries to install the new application, in my case an update application window appeared, accept and that's it, it simply updated without deleting my progress
Basically download the new application and click install hehe
