And the vibes were immaculate!! It's the only piece of feedback I thought I could call out, but everything else is fantastic and well polished

Suuuper cool, love this style of game! Art is very nice and I love the idea of a boss fight you keep fighting over a period of time. It took us a bit to see the powerup overlays to select them, but once we got it it was fine. I love that you can see the power ups along the side to see what you've collected!

Fun gameplay loop! Controls feel very tight and snappy. I love that there are sound effects as you type. I think I discovered a hidden keybinding where pressing Space restarts the song lol.

Super fun way to play with the theme of needing a leaderboard. Music was fantastic. When you get a power up and the music changes to be the duration of the power up *chefs kiss*. It took me too long to realize you could double jump, and before then I kept bonking my head.

Love the electric toxic waste style y'all got going on! Music was super intense. I actually had it muted at first and then played again to hear it all, super cool. I wish I could see myself (the rat) jumping along! Also loved the rat signs near the end lol. Long live the Rat King!!

Looove the art style!! The font kind of reminds me of the browser-based Tamagotchi games. Super cool you were able to get motion controls done in time for the jam. It was a bit hard to maneuver on a trackpad, and the motion icon on the hotdog took a bit before we realized it was a mouse with the left button highlighted (although again that might be a trackpad issue)

Overall super clean and well polished!

Love the art style + personality, although at times the moving text was a little hard to see. Music is super fun, and I like how the drifting sounded and how snappy it felt. Definitely one of the harder games I've played during the jam.

Love how heavy the sound comes in as soon as it starts! Visuals are super cool, and controls feel super tight. This is the first submission I've checked out and boy has it set the bar high

I'm so glad you said that, I actually had no idea there was another door in the elevator room! I came back and found all the little items, including the two door stoppers and the memo. I'm not sure but I think bringing the memo to HR got it denied which then unlocked the elevator? Still love the art style!! I also found out you can get out of bounds the skeleton closet by going through the wall on the right.  Did the door stoppers do anything? I thought I could maybe trap ghosts in but wasn't sure how to activate them. Also what was the QR code thing for?

I think this ended with the euth room dialogue? Took me a bit to figure out how to start the incision part, took me just clicking randomly over and over (even had to refresh) I like the concept of walking around via the CCTV footage.

This was one of the first ones I played and boy was it spooky. I couldn't quite figure out how to dodge the ghosts and I didn't realize what was meant with clicking the "?" button until I saw the screenshots after with the camera again. Overall definitely one of the scariest games that's been submitted!

Love the cliffhanger ending! It's more story driven than an actual game, but I didn't mind. Visuals were fantastic (esp the end) and I thought the writing was good too. I did spend a bit trying to give the dad the box in the beginning, but otherwise was really easy to follow. Excited to see what you do with it further!

Love the art style! Concept is really cool and I like the puns, although I couldn't get past the first area. I kept dying to the spooky goo lady, and I couldn't seem to make it through the door to the copy machine. I collected all the candy corn so not sure what I was missing. The QR code and inventory didn't seem to do anything.

Super cool! Can't believe you got to so much. I took out the wolf one time and a bunch of red stuff came out and my sheep all ran away, then when I woke up all my crops were gone?? I didn't want to play much after that, but cool regardless!

(1 edit)

click on the candy and then click on an enemy or yourself!

Incredibly fun, movement was very tactile which I loved and really enjoyed the music/sound change when you got big.
