yeah, it was on mac

are some textures supposed to be transparent and copy other textures when i move? maybe i faced some bug, idk.

Hey there! Added skip option and some minor improvements

Think I’ll add skip level or go to next checkpoint feature. Also restart level should be implemented I guess. Thank you for feedback!

i'm not using any headphones buddy

you think checkpoints would solve the problem? or should I better add skip level option? i heard a lot about hardness of cave level so i’m really thinking about that

In case you want to pass the bridge, you need to collect two type of gears. First one is 3 toothed one, it is on the right part of bridge. Try to use your voice to jump over invisible blocks.

well, can tell gris is source of inspiration for sure)

What I like is platforming, it was good. But lack of sound and some bugs are annoying. I think that some music could really make this game much better in a lot of ways. Also I couldn't make it past rope part since game bugged and rope disappear, I also respawned in wall and just died a couple of times by that

I'd like to make music not that loud, yet I enjoyed the meditative proccess of this game. A bit easy for me since you can complete most of waves standing at one point and simply by using powerups. Anyway music did it's job.

Great music, but wave sound a bit high for me. Gameplay is okay, but I missed the point of echoes since with my lights out I can see through dark area. So echo is not that important.

Looking for some who knows how to do simple animations from 2D sprites. Game is not pixelart and sprites are already done (mostly). Only need to make animation for non-characters, so it should be easier. Add me on discord in case you interested: @callmenightflav

Hey buddy, checked out your soundcloud, sounds awesome! Would you mind adding me on ds: callmenightflav

hey there, contact me on ds: callmenightflav

Like the sounds. Can feel yourself inside of it.

Great game, enjoyed my time playing it. Very great pixelart, yet simple. I love the visuals, sound and polish of this game. Would definately buy such piece on iPhone for a couple of buck. Like it!

Love the moth on cover! For me it was a bit boring since lack of visual and sound effects, but I guess that it is just lack of time. Game feels nice, especially controls and ligths.

Main idea is great, I have good time playing it. Most interesting among all other games for sure, at least for now on. The only couple of things I would change is sound of a jump (since you jump a lot and it starts to annoy me a bit) and inability to move after respawn for half a second or so (whole game is quite fast yet this stop erases the feel of pursuit for your owner). Either way game is definitely in my top 3 from this jam.

I'll start with things that i like. Tiny rat that may fell from graveyard or tree; Sound design; Pixel art is good ngl; Improvements that i think would make this game better: some minigame to dig or chop a tree since just standing nearby is kind of boring for me. And also I would like to see things I found on my character, not only in the top left corner. Anyway game looks good to kill some time.

Like that you liked it! Appreciate your comment so much!

If you look close on what is written on the pages it becomes reasonable to have such unfair puzzles. The moment this puzzle is on screen - is the moment when child start to blame himself for what’s happening. As far as I can see, this is the most heartbreaking and terrifying thing that could probably happen to any child alive. This was the main point of this puzzle, to show that something truly unchangeable happens in his little heart.

Appreciate your comment so much!

like visuals. reminds me of an good old games i been playing in my grandma's house on my uncle sega. good time

Okay, got you here. I was thinking about it and that sometimes it may be hard to understand which object is collidable. Yet I thought on the other hand that it may look unnatural in child's notebook to have some kind of outlines. Guess the solutions was to make some kind of identification that object can be used in game, but made it on paper. Will think about it, thanks!

What you mean by "some outlines"? I kind of don't understand what you're talking about.

I wanted to make not just little game, but little world with little story of a boy whose parents having bad time. That’s why I chose this style.

Can agree with commentators on sfx and animations. Sometime you lost attention a bit and already need to look forward a small arrow that shows what you need to do now.

reading your comment I understand, that I almost accomplished my idea. Being a five years old child whose parent are getting divorced is pretty much like you trying to figure out where to go. Yet I understand that game should be intuitive and easy to understand. Thank you for playing!

I had some fun, ngl.

Really cool theme interpretation, yet obvious. Anyway enjoyed the game, looks cool, sound nice. But sometime i felt like i was pixel hunting trying to achieve the pattern i need to achieve.

What I liked - atmosphere. I think colour range fits perfectly. But there are some things that made me out of this atmosphere. First of all is controls. I need to look for spot to click on to go to direction i want to go to. The other thing is lack of visual representation of what's happening? A lot of text yet lack of visuals.

Like the visuals. But kind of lack of information on evidences. I would like to look at them or at least read more. Anyway looks great.

If you're talking about level with wall in center, try not to jump, but slide. Sometime less effort is better)
