Thanks for this awesome tile pack. I love it a lot.

I have a question. Each biome not only has a different amount of base-tile-variations (top-left) but they are also arranged differently (i.e. desert vs snow). I don't understand the purpose of this yet but it makes it a bit more difficult to work with. Is there a reason for that because I would like to draw some more for them to all have the same amount :)

Also a suggestion for improvement. Each biome has 4 different variations (normal + 2x paved + 1x light). It would be nice if in the multilayer-version they would have an alpha-background. That way you could dynamically combine gras-paving onto a gras-light-base as well, or overlay a gras-light-edge onto a desert-base and so on. I think this would be more dynamic for the programmer.

Best Regards

Nice game. Where did you get the sprites for the "castles" for the different factions from?

Absolutely gorgeous. Thank you for providing a free set to protoype before buying the other ones.

Any advice for the animation duration you intended? I am not sure if I should use a fixed per-frame-time (like 200 ms per frame) or a fixed total-animation-time (like 1000 ms for each full animation cycle, independent of the number of single frames)
