Hey, i recently started playing your game again (unfortunately lost all my progress, but thats my fault, i just didnt export my save and deleted my cookies). I am a bit confused about the crafting system though. I am getting a lot of materials, which are not needed for any recipe as far as i can tell (shroom spores, royal jelly, silken thread, moon tears etc.). Since there is no further explanation in the game about crafting, i was just wondering if those materials are just useless or if i unlock new recipes later on. Do i gain anything from crafting the scrap golem multiple times? I dont want  to waste my graphite powder if  i dont need to. I crafted it 3 times now and nothing else seemed to happen.

Also, I wanted to know if something like offline rewards could be implemented. Sometimes when i switch back to the tab after 10+ minutes it buffers for a long time before i can do anything in the game again. Coming back into the tab after 1+ hours might even crash the tab. Maybe it would be possible to still generate shards during offline time, but no new cards can be found while the game is closed.

Any news?

i like the core concept, but here are a few things that i didnt like:


-the game seems to be very rng-heavy. even the goblins in the first layer can kill me if i am unlucky enough (dodges and crits). it was impossible for me to get past level 3 or 4 (maybe im just bad tho)

-sometimes levels were generated without traders, enemies or chests. they just consisted of 2 empty rooms (one of which had stairs of course)

-the altars seem really bad. except for the one that  heals you (and perhaps the miniboss, which i was not able to beat) they all seem like punishments or equal tradeoffs at best

-trading seemed kinda bugged sometimes. whenever my inventory was empty or one line was full of items, i couldnt drag the items into my inventory to buy then. in this case i had to unequip armor. that way i could "fill" my inventory and allow myself to buy stuff. maybe just implement a way to buy with a double-click or a dedicated "buy" button?

-i didnt understand level-ups. sometimes my xp said something like "45/40", but i still didnt level up. level ups only occured when i used the altar that converted coins into xp. and even when i got 2 level-ups at once, it still seemed like i was weak. the only difference i could see were +5 hp per lvl. nothing else. maybe i missed something tho.


With that being said, i still liked the idea and art in the game. Sadly i couldnt progress far enough to see all of it (almost nothing, even). I'll stay tuned!

I dont get how to get the 4th mimic (golden probably, according to the clue).

I used the torch for clues (mimics eye-shape and placement) but there is no mimic with "angry" eyes to place on the triangle on the right yet. i guess i need to get that first, i just dont know how. i also get the other hint, which uses the teeth patterns of the mimics, but im obviously missing a step in between.

I recognised the green mimic has adifferent tongue than the others. I also dont know what the coin signs next to the tunnel and on the right side are for, but i dont see how this is goind to help me spawn the 4th mimic. The steam page for this game is blocked in my country, so i cant just look it up either :(

One more observation: I think the rebirth system can lead to problems. for example: if i get my first reset with 20 cards, my permanent luck increase will be lower than if i did it with 24 cards. But since the next reset is more expensive than the first one, players get punished for resetting as soon as they can. Players who reset "too early" get a "debuff" in comparison to other players who stayed longer to gain a few more cards, which makes it easier to get shards in the next reset. Maybe it would be more fair to have a fixed rebirth cost (1 million maybe?) and the luck bonuses get more extreme the more cards you find (e.g. 20 cards give +0,1 luck and 40 cards give +0,8 luck instead of +0,1 to make rebirths more attractive). This way numbers can always keep increasing (and rarity too!), more active gameplay get rewarded (more resets force more active gameplay at the start after each rebirth) and bad choices in the past dont affect the rest of the complete save file negatively.

Cool proof of concept. It lacks content of course (cards as well as shop upgrades), but i guess theres more to come.

Hope the game will be more interactive in the future. Right now its literally just auto rolling and keeping your +1 luck booster active.

is this still being developed?

is there a way to get the ring of enslavement yet? I didnt find any new items the last 50 times i looked for them. i looked in the shop and the attic.

Cool game so far. Had some crashes while running/dashing into the laser beams, but otherwise it was fun :)

Really liked the game/art, although some parts seemed very unintuituve to me (especially how to open the door and how to light the candles). Are you planning on developing more games in this style? Your other games seem to be quite different gameplaywise.

The artworks turned out really nicely, just like in the other games. When it comes to gameplay, this is probably the best game by kk2oven so far, though it is still a little bit slow. The game also starts lagging after a while (at least for me) so i have to close the game every 15-20 minutes to make it run smoothly again. Would still recommend

I still dont get how to acquire the coin (or maybe its a golden gemstone, idk) in Dungeon C. Unfortunately, Steam blocked this game in my country, so i cant look up the walkthrough. I assume its inside of the chest, but i have no idea how to open it (maybe it has something to do with the 2 crossed-out symbols in the top-left and top-right of the first room?).

Either way, great game :)

Is this game still being worked on? I couldnt find anything new since Dec, 2023. Neither on Twitter nor on Petreon or anywhere else :(
