Both versions need compiling. Sounds technical, isn't really that hard - especially if you ask The Internet to "Guide you through compiling Obsidian plugin source code to a working version that I can put in my plugin folder. I already have the source file in a ZIP."
Short version: download the releases as ZIP files from Github. Then install Node.js, open your terminal in the source folder, and run npm install followed by npm run build. Move the generated files (main.js, manifest.json, and styles.css)to a Lonelog folder in plugins. Do this for both versions, new folder each time.
You don't need both - they do different things. Zeruhur's is a database system, templates, and tag lookup. Hardiman's is for syntax highlighting inside code blocks and also tag lookups.
If you can't get it to work, then please ask the internet and not here - the itch.io page celebrating our love of Lonelog isn't the best place for tech support!! I just wanted folks to know the plugins can be installed, it's not that hard, and they're really cool to play with.
