The jumping was floaty for me too, but I liked it. It contributed to the eerie atmosphere and made the platforming very chill and comfy. Also I loved the jumpscare at the beginning

Lots of fun! I played this before the submission deadline and couldn't even beat level 1. Now that I have revisited it, I was able to 0% the game very quickly using ONE SECRET TECHNIQUE: click and hold the anchor at the beginning and RELEASE it when you're ready, instead of clicking it when you're ready to deploy.
I loved playing this game back on Yoyo Games. When I think about top tier legitimately good classic GameMaker games, this is the first game I always think of. Not sure how accurate the stats on the archive are but I'm surprised that it didn't get massive recognition -- much crappier games (including my own absolute trash from the time) seem to have had comparable downloads, despite this being pretty much professional quality. I'd definitely pay for it if it got a release on the Switch e-shop or something. Honestly, this game was way better than the best of classic Newgrounds games. Yoyo should have made it a featured game or something.
