Adorable and fun. Only thing is the bosses could do with more health and some invincibility frames. Very lovely and well made.

Thanks for the critique, we accidentally pushed it out with a bug that causes the player to be unable to respawn when dying to spikes, that's on us, pressing the R key will reset the player to the start of the level as a little bandaid. Also, to play on controller, press the P key, this will pause the game, where you can change the movement option option from mouse to directional. This was not written on the game page itself, we must have forgot.
Glad you loved the vibe.
Very cute, if a bit repetitive, game felt pretty actively malicious and out to get you which I think was fitting for a game like this. I'd want a few less blind 'jumps' personally, I found a few times I was just flung into spikes and died because I was in the wrong place at the wrong time, nothing I could do. Still very fun though.
Somewhat fun, it's got a good base, I think making the rings bigger would make this far more fun to play, cause as it stands I have to slow right down to a crawl to really hit anything. Also the rings often de-spawn right in front of me, which is a little annoying. Overall pretty fun though
Also, may I recommend in the future, try to get your game to run within itch, because exclusively download only games tend to do poorly.
The fish look awesome, concepts fun, the music is chiptune and not annoying. Great game. Only thing I'd change is making the reeling just a little more difficult. The whole time I never lost a fish and never felt all that close to losing a fish, even when catching the dragons. Still very fun though.
Quite pretty, I actually enjoyed the controls in a sort of janky, early 3d game kind of way, definitely gave the game some personality. Unfortunately, the game ends in almost a minute, and the task itself isn't very difficult, just moving an item from point A to B while dodging, fairly slow, projectiles. This is a very nice base for a game, but missing much actual game though. Still quite enjoyed what I saw. Even spent some times just walking around the map after I'd beaten it just to see if I could find anything else.
Cute, nice music, the mixed pixel sizes are a little offputting but eh, gamejam. It's fun, the idea with the pearls is cool, the only major gripe I had was with the character movement it just did not feel very consistent, especially the jump. I jumped really high a couple times but could never do it consistently. Still fun though, beat every level.
Fun. good music, great atmosphere. Text for the berry amounts were pretty hard to read. but still doable. I was never able to figure out how to get the fruit from the birds. If you click them they drop it, but you can't grab the fruit after that point and even if you click the birds over the basket it doesn't fall in.
Still very fun though, quite enjoyed.
Did you actually hit a button to export when you made the file? Or did you just upload the game file you were editing. It looks like just an editing file. There should be an option to export it as a specific type of file, such as .exe or .html, which will allow the game to be played without needing to open it in game maker.
Yeah this is actually amazing for a gamejam. Great use of colours to contrast the player, boss, and arena. Feels nice to control, boss looks awesome.
Always love when games have the way of health recovery be based around attacking your opponent, which is used very smartly here.
It was a very smart use of time to spend the jam working on a single boss fight, quality over quantity.
Great game.
Edit: Beat it on hard mode, extremely fun time.
I am a pixel artist looking to participate in my first game jam. I have marginal skills in sound design/coding, but not nearly enough to make something passable on my own. My skills mostly lie in pixel art and I can make both tilesets and characters.
