just the code and initially it did have some “auto-completed” text as I was just making it quick but that was all cleaned up and rewritten when people started playing it.

oh I can tell you that I 100% used AI to help me code it. It’s  not a secret, I marked that the code was AI-assisted in the information about the game.

 I made this game just for fun after I played Type Help and wanted more. I was proud of what I made so I put it up on itch and didn’t expect anyone but me and my friends to play it but it turns out a lot of people ended up liking it! 

But not GreedyRadish it seems. And that’s fine, everyone’s entitled to their opinion. No bad feelings.

I picked this period because there was a French comic I when I was a kid set there but in the 30s and I always loved the mood of it with the colonists, the locals, the pirates, the opium… 

As for research I honestly just googled, wiki’d, YouTubed my way around and made notes. Theres some Facebook and Quora groups as well dedicated to it where I found out a lot about the ways of living from the period.
