An interesting take on minesweeper, but like others have said, once you get the hang of it, the only real challenge is the confusing UI where the numbers switch places when you reveal a tile. I also wish that when you marked a numbered tile, it counted on the right side so you could tell how many you had left. It seems like it only counts them if you make a mistake.

Great game! Encountered a couple minor bugs, but also there's a typo in the text when you unlock the return statue. At 98% and not really sure where to look.

I got the catalog version and really want to like this game, but the punishing difficulty combined with the way the controls work makes it actually painful to play. The lack of saving within levels is especially infuriating, since I invested a lot of time in level 3 getting to just a few objects left, and then was stuck on a handful of seemingly impossible objects. I felt like I couldn't use my playdate for anything else since I'd lose so much progress, but I couldn't make it any further. Eventually I just gave up and I probably won't come back. Maybe there's something I'm missing about how the instruments work.

Edit: looks like this page has a link to some instructions for the instruments. Maybe that will help.

Rediscovered this after a long time, still love it. I just wish the zooming worked better near the edges. Seems like you have to put your mouse on the very edge to make sure the edge is included, instead of it centering around your mouse. Wouldn't be as much of a problem if dragging worked, but I can't figure out how to drag without placing a probe.

Current best probes out of 6 wins is 44 and best time is 2:08
