thank you :) I appreciate the review and feedback

I love the art style a lot I thought it was unique and worked really well. That flashback scene before the demo ended was really good, I liked what you got so far :) I think the finished project will be really good keep it up

I liked it a lot!   One of my favorites I've played so far.   The story was really good and the game was fun to play.

Thank you :) I appreciate it.  The puzzles were definitely my favorite part to make I really liked working with switches and variables so I'm looking forward to doing more stuff like that.  I definitely know what you mean with the ending, I had bigger plans for it but didn't follow though so it became a little rushed.  Regardless, thank you for the review. I'm looking forward to a new project.

Thank you for the feedback, I'm happy you enjoyed it over all :)

I really like the horror element of having the monster.  I did have a really hard time getting away from it though  😅 I think maybe having it spawn a few tiles away or a little slower might have helped a bit. I kind of gave up and didn't get very far after struggling and wasn't able to finish it.

Here is a devlog with puzzle hints

You found an item with a four letter name in that room earlier, the answer is already in your inventory

I appreciate it, got it submitted :D

It looks so pretty :D I love the art and music, I wouldn't have known this was your first RPG Maker game if you hadnt said so.  If you finish it I look forward to playing the complete version.  It looks really good so far.

I swear officer, that kid just ran out right in front of me

That makes sense.  I had also played on Firefox.  Regardless, I really liked the game!

Thank you everyone who viewed and rated my game.  This was my first game jam and it was fun to try something new.  I will be taking rating as critique to improve on future projects  :)

It seems all fixed now!  I liked it I thought it was cute.

I know how to turn off the flashlight, I didn't think flashlight should be causing that kind of issue

This is so cute :3

This is awesome!  Really impressive with the time given.  I thought the dialogue with John was funny.  I did come across this issue with notes, i dont think was intentional.  Really cool game.  I'm going to try it again later and see if I can make it out alive lol

I like it a lot!  I had fun playing it and making decisions.

I think it is a cool game :) more decision making would be a lot of fun

Hahaha that's them!  That's the monster in the woods!

thank you! :)

thank you!  I'm glad you liked it

There was never a point in this game where I felt lost or like i needed a guide.  Just follow the doors that open.  However I did also get that visual glitch too, but for this kind of jam I don't think it was a huge deal.  Very spooky atmosphere I kept expecting a jumpscare but I'm glad there wasn't any

Its so funny I came across your page while I was looking through random devlogs and found this game.  I remember playing this years ago and thinking it was so cute!  Seems meant to be for me to find it again.  It's great <3
