I really love the idea of the infinite tasks, and the visuals are amazing! The game has a really nice presentation and a very distinctive style. :D

I did have a few small difficulties while playing, though. The game starts in fullscreen automatically, and the viewport felt a little too large for my screen, so I had to manually zoom out the browser to make it more comfortable to play. The map also felt quite large at times, and I found it a little difficult to keep track of what was happening, especially since enemies could still move while I was in dialogue with the boss.

I also found the tasks and dialogue a little difficult to read, as they can be quite small depending on where they appear and also appear on top of other things from the scene. And there were a few moments where I seemed to die without being completely sure what had caused it, so perhaps making the damage/death conditions a little clearer could help.

Overall, I think the game has a really cool visual identity and a great core concept. With a bit more polish to the gameplay and some clearer feedback during gameplay, I think it could be a much more enjoyable experience. Great work! ^^

I really like the speedrun theme and the idea behind the game! I think it could become even more interesting with a bit more variety, though. For example, having more levels, different difficulty settings, or some kind of randomness between runs could add a lot of replayability to the main gameplay. Just a suggestion, of course! ^^

I also had a little trouble figuring out how to play at first, and I wasn’t sure what the “Z” button was supposed to do. I noticed the controls mention 2 players as well, but I couldn’t see or control the second player. Maybe adding a small “How to Play” section on the game page could help new players understand the controls and mechanics more easily.

I’m also not sure if this is intended or a bug, but when I reach the objective, the screen turns black. If I try to move afterwards, the game starts again from the beginning. If this is meant to be the winning screen, it might be nice to show your previous speedrun times there, along with your current time, so you can easily see whether you improved without having to remember your previous record. Of course, I’m not sure if the black screen is intended to work this way, so take this just as a suggestion!

Despite these little things, I think it’s a really fun little game to play with friends and see who can get the fastest time. With a bit more variety and polish, I think it could be even more fun! Great job! :D

I absolutely love the whole aesthetic of the game, and I really like how well the mechanics tie into the theme! The music pop-up is such a clever touch too, not only does it change the music, but it also changes the colors! The whole experience feels really polished as well.

I love it! Congrats ^^ I’ll book some days to play it non-stop ;D

The main mechanic is such a clever idea, and the sounds are hilarious! The art and animations also fit so well with the background, giving the whole game a really nice and unique aesthetic.

I love it, good game! :D

Great game! The visuals are absolutely amazing!

It really feels like playing an Undertale-inspired card game, and it’s surprisingly addictive. I had a lot of fun with it!

Really well done! :D

I love the concept, and I also love Sudoku games! It was such a fun challenge, and now I can’t stop playing ^^

At first, I wasn’t quite sure how the Sudoku was supposed to be played, so I just clicked around and figured things out as I went. Maybe having a small visual “How to Play” guide showing how each game works and which controls to use in the first rounds could be helpful. That said, discovering these things through trial and error is also part of the fun, so I really enjoyed figuring everything out as I played as well!

Really fun and enjoyable game. Great job! :D

I absolutely loved the idea of playing as a summoner! The controls feel great, and the army pointer was really intuitive and easy to get used to ^^

Even though this kind of game isn’t usually my cup of tea, I really loved the idea of being able to summon more troops from the graves scattered around the map and also how it links with the theme. It makes it possible to keep playing at a more relaxed pace, which I really appreciated! (I’m also a total noob, so that definitely helped XD)

Well done! :D

I’m so glad you managed to solve the bug!! I really wanted to play this game ever since I saw it on the jam page, and now that I’ve finally had the chance to play it, I can say it’s an amazing job!

I love binary and computer-related games, and you came up with such an incredible idea! The gambling aspect also makes it really addictive… I can’t stop playing it now! ^^

Great job! :D

Thank you so much for playing and for stopping by! ^^

I really appreciate you giving it a try! :D

Thank you so, so much for your kind words and for taking the time to try it again! It really means a lot to me that you enjoyed the game and that it’s running smoothly now! ^^

I’m especially happy that you like the infinite folding idea! It was quite a challenge to come up with the mechanics and make everything work in such a little time, so hearing that you enjoy figuring out how to do the correct folds and take the time to enjoy it makes me really happy :D

Thank you again for your support and for playing my game! It truly means a lot! <3

Thank you so much for the feedback!

I’ve just uploaded a small updated version that I hope will fix the issue. If it’s not too much trouble, could you please try it and see if the bug is fixed this time?

I’m sorry, I don’t own a Mac at the moment, so I can’t test it myself ^^”””

Thank you very much!

I know you didn’t mean it in a bad way, don’t worry. I really appreciate suggestions from all kinds of players! I want to make a game that everyone can enjoy once it’s finished, so every little piece of advice is always welcome here :D

And I’m really glad you enjoyed the art and music as well! It makes me really happy to hear that you liked the overall feel of the game, even if the pacing wasn’t quite your thing ^^

Thank you so much for all the kind comments and for taking the time to play my game! It really means a lot to me <3

As I promised in my last reply, I’m here again to let you know that version v1.1.0 of the game is out now!

Although I don’t think the lag issue is completely solved, I’ve also uploaded a Windows executable that seems to work perfectly fine (I hope ^^””).

Also, while researching ways to solve the issue, I found out that some users say the game might be laggy depending on the browser, or that it might work better with “Hardware Acceleration” enabled in your browser settings.

Anyway, thank you so much for the feedback and for playing my game!! :D

Thank you so, so much!

I completely understand that it’s a bit too difficult at the beginning. One of my goals was to make a little introduction or tutorial on how to play, rather than having a hidden little button with some text… but unfortunately, time didn’t allow me to finish that part :’[

Once the Jam voting period ends, I’m planning on adding more modes, but before that, the first thing I’ll fully develop will be the tutorial. I want to make it really polished as well (maybe that’s why I couldn’t finish it on time… ooppsss… ^^”””)

I’ll also add to my TODO list the idea of making the first levels a bit easier while gradually introducing the power-ups, as you suggested.

Thank you again for the feedback, and stay tuned!

Thank you for the feedback, and thank you so much for playing my game! :D

If you don’t mind, I’d like to ask for a bit more information about the issue, since I tried to find the bug myself but couldn’t figure it out ^^””

Were you using any power-ups when the problem occurred? Do you have a screenshot, or could you tell me how to reproduce the bug so I can try to figure out why it happens?

Thanks again for letting me know!

Thanks for the feedback and for enjoying my game!

I’ve just uploaded an updated version of the game to try to fix the laggy gameplay issue, as well as the Windows executable you asked for :]

Thank you so much!!

I’m really glad that you like my game :D

Thank you so much for playing!!

And yes, I completely understand your point. The game is indeed a bit slow-paced, and it’s also not as intuitive as I originally intended for first-time players.

Thank you for your feedback, and stay tuned for more! I’ll try to bring in more game modes to give the game even more personality and variety. ^^

I’m trying to fix this issue at this very moment. I’m sorry for the inconvenience. It seems to be something off with the exported html executable due to some godot addons malfunction I think. Some similar issue also happened when submitting and that’s why I ended up submitting late… However, when I solve the issue I’ll let you know. Thank you very much for playing my game! And also thank you for stopping by and give some feedback ^^

Were you able to play the game?

Or you mean the .exe file?

I also make the hole game page public now, maybe it works now as well.

(1 edit)

I believe this is the key to download it: BlogInvaders_Key I’m sorry for the trouble, this is my first finished game and I’m new to this itch.io thing ^^”” If it didn’t work I will send you the other version.
