After like, 2 tries I figured out the controls; I'm glad I did because honestly I think it's really neat. Building powerlines to get your towers working can open up a lot cool options if expanded on.

Hey great work for your first jam. Text is a bit small and hard to read, but it looks like you've got everything working good for an incremental game! Overall really solid.

It's a pretty cool concept, and satisfying to see the zombies get pulled together to explode. I feel that the letter spawning could be tweaked a bit; I found myself spending a lot of time just running circles trying to find a specific letter.

Honestly I think this is really cool. Could play around a lot with the idea of taking and transferring properties. Really great work, wish there were more levels!

Really cool idea and fits the theme perfectly. Surprisingly challenging too

Love the main menu. Solid little game; just needs a little polish for things already mentioned.

Love the little cutscenes. Gameplay was pretty fun.

The tongue to move around platforms instead of jumping is a nice change of pace from the usual platformer stuff!

Not bad! Could use some more work, but it's a good start; and switching from just hitting blocks to needing to stay on the path was nice.

Hey nice little twist on tetris

Hah, the orb dropped off the first skeleton I killed. Did another run just to smash a few more skelletons.
Pretty solid start, good game!

Nice! Found myself trying to stay really slow since otherwise the truck will be so close to the top. Spent a lot of time restarting new runs lol

Good start, cool to see the weapons stack up like that - would have liked them stacking up even more!

Nice puzzle! I had fun. Couldn't figure out the last puzzle. (assuming it was the last one)

Takes me back to when I was a kid in school, drawing pictures by tracing lines between those numbered dots. The detection could use some tuneing, when dots are close it'll pick the one I didn't click on. But overall I really like this! Great job!

Even if you ran out of time to do everything you wanted, you still managed to put together something pretty cool!

Hey great work! I like the idea of building a little squad of ducks

Pretty fun! Wouldn't mind seeing the potion spawns increased so I can play around more with different combos.

Making something like this for the game jam is really cool man. It's a bit basic as is, but it's a really strong foundation to keep building off of. Good work!

Great work! The lasers always felt like they were going to point where I wanted them too,  andthe level where you had to bounce two lasers off of one mirror was a good use of the mechanics. All around a really solid start.

Basically perfect if I'm being honest. You did a really great job of introducing new mechanics, steadily increasing the difficulty.  I would happily play a dozen more levels!

Great work! Fairly solid.  I liked when you had the white plug outlet need to get switched with which plug was in, in order to make platforms show up. It's a great use of mechanics

It gets pretty fun when building up speed and using the portal to place save yourself. I did find it really easy to get myself stuck  and soft locked though; a button to easily reset would be appreciated.

Does have room to expand, I could see it being fun if you had to place down track pieces to direct the trains to hit the letters in the right order

It's great! I would have loved to see a level where you can stack on top of 2; the mechanics simple but it works really well! Good implementation.

Unless you did do a level with stacking 2, and I just couldn't reach it. I got stuck on the level that had  2 of the little guys.

Didn't notice if it's there, but having a small grace period where you can jump after stepping off a ledge would be nice.

It's nice! Good vibes. Puzzles are really straight forward

I like it!  Overall great.

The mice could be expanded on to be like one of those mobile games; as it stands they're just an extra step.

Almost immediately I knew this was great! Simple puzzle but with a lot of room to expand on it. Not really much to say, I really like it and think it's fun. I did soft lock myself on the last part, so a way to reset a room or summon a rabbit back would be nice.

Hey this is great! It's fun picking tiles to go to and see what's in it. Really cool seeing something like this get done for the jam.

Combat can be a bit easy, since my superior skeleton legs easily let me run circles around an enemy.

I think I understand what loop is: gather materials, build your iron sword, go fight the fungus monsters, turn them into the thing so you can activate the big thing.

But unfortunately I have to echo what the others have said; I can't manage to craft anything or add items to the furnace. A way to check what items your carrying, a hotbar, ability to drag and drop items, or just putting buttons so you click iron bar -> makes an iron bar. All options that could help. I pressed each key on my keyboard, but couldn't manage to add anything into the furnace.
Unless it's the WEBGL/godot getting in the way; exiting fullscreen and entering back in will break my movement input, stopping me from moving.

Hey good work! It's a solid start; you made good use of the assets to create some pretty nice looking areas! The spell building is pretty cool.
The gameplay itself feels a little bit on the slower side. and a lock-on mechanic to help aim your attacks could be nice.

whoops, didn't realize you could still stun them while getting jump scared. thanks for pointing it out!

Thanks for the feedback!

I've added the ability to pick up and carry stunned Jiangshi, so if one is in your way you can just pick it up and move it somewhere else now.

I just uploaded a new build, which should fix the problem. I think it was something with how both Itch and the game were locking the cursor to the window?

Thanks!
edit:Whoops, sorry. Looks like I was wrong - it either looked like I fixed it, or the issue simply came back.

Thanks!

hey, good job on finishing something for the game jam! Jams take a lot of work, and you basically made 5 games!

I think the elevator could work out slightly better without a wait time; popping in, do any shopping, then just click a button to load the next game instead of having a wait period.

Good work! I found it pretty challenging and spending most of my time just guessing where something is supposed to go, hoping for the cat to give me the translations for locations. Luckily there doesn't seem to be any actual penalty right now.
Maybe if it was set up as a shift? Like you spend a shift/day  at work doing X amount of tasks, then can look over notes. Too low of a rating and you're fired, etc.

gah, I was hoping no one would notice you could fish anywhere lol.  Entering a spot enables a bool to fish, leaving disables it. But I forgot to have fishing itself disable that bool. >.<

the secrets the maid cafe doesn't want you to know...

Thanks for the feedback!
