Well designed and executed. Not really "missing" anything and that means a lot. i made it to level 20, but died :D my first run, reminds me of Despot but with more agency.
Only suggestions I have would be to put little ability icons next to guys in the shop, Sword, Bow, Regen +. That way we know their specials.
Another thing I was surprised is no shuffle button, most of these army management games have a way to shuffle the units for a cost. One level I got only ghosts and shades, not much choice. I guess that's luck of the draw.
