Love the use of the limited palette, the sounds were super satisfying, and you can pet the cat. What more can one ask for?

I really wanted to have more than the two endings depending on if you helped everyone and left with your dream item as the "ultra good" ending or if you sold everyone's items as the "ultra bad" ending but time got away from me.

I'm also glad you discovered the beach ball, I left that as a little thing to discover rather than giving away that you could interact with it!

I've gotten the music and text speed feedback from others as well, but hadn't considered a transition to the dig mini-game, that's a really good suggestion! Thank you for all the feedback!

Loved your art style, especially the player character! I like how you chose to indicate the detection with the circle sound waves, really cool design choice! There were a couple of spots that could've been polished up a bit with some proper y-sorting to have the player correctly draw in front of other sprites, but that's the only real bit of feedback I have. Nice job!

Haha yeah there's a couple games centered around metal detecting, I appreciate you giving mine a try too! I agree that having some background music throughout could really polish it further. Thanks for the feedback!

Thank you :D

Really fun concept! Love the take on the summer theme, and the art is so dang good!

Thank you, I appreciate the kind words!

I love the direction you took yours, it's fun to see how people take on similar concepts! Thank you so much for the feedback, definitely agree with those QoL features you suggested, skipping text is definitely a big one I didn't consider but is so nice to have.

Could have used some in game tutorial, but after reading the description on your page I got the hang of it!
This game is so well polished, I love the little footprints, the sounds are all satisfying and the art is nice and cohesive. Also A+ title, really cute game!

Thanks so much!

Thank you, glad you had fun with it :)

It's nice to hear you enjoyed it, comments like this are super validating! Thank you!

Thank you so much for the feedback! We decided to go with just the ambience of the waves, but with more time we would've liked to include music with volume sliders for the music/detector so players could have it at their preference. I appreciate the suggestion!

Yes I was using Firefox, an AMD GPU/CPU and a 1080p monitor.

Probably one of the best games I've played in this jam so far! The gameplay was so fun and satisfying, the art was fantastic, and everything was just super smooth. Seriously fantastic!

I liked all the different little games, it was very cute and a fun take on the limitation!

Unique gameplay, good replay value for interacting with the different characters and it's super polished. Nice work!

The art style was so unique and the marble game was really fun!

Gameplay was satisfying! The responsiveness of the controls felt a little off at times but overall I had fun playing it!

Fun little shooter! I really liked the art style and could definitely see myself losing time and getting into the zone of just playing this for a little.

Doesn't really fit the summer theme, but you did a nice job on the art and gameplay!

I love the art! Gameplay was a little confusing, I managed to grow a few plants but then got lost on what to do next.

Not sure if it was something specific to me/my browser, but some of the text was in the margins and was a little hard to read as a result, but it didn't impede my ability to enjoy the story! This was a creative take on the theme and limitation!

Thanks for playing on your stream, it's so beneficial seeing people react in real time with fresh eyes!

Thank you for giving it a play, I appreciate the feedback on the overall ambience of it!

Thank you so much! The color started out as just a way to debug and test the logic before adding the sound, but we decided we really liked it as another form of indication for the players. Glad you liked it!

Yeah when I play I rush to get the better shovel right away, definitely makes the mini-game go much faster so you can keep exploring. Thank you for the feedback!

Thank you! Yes the idea behind the limitation is that you can just rush to get the thing you want most without helping the people on the beach, but that leads to a different end - I recommend trying that route out, and even selling all the possessions of the NPCs to see how the effects the game :) Thank you for playing and providing your feedback!

Cute story and art, the gameplay was simple but fun. Well done!

I really liked the animations, the facial expressions were great!

Satisfying gameplay, it felt nice and well balanced!

The fishing felt a bit challenging compared to the cozy atmosphere, but I really liked the overall vibe! The art and music are super comfy!

I found it to be a good challenge, and I like the unique art style!

ahh I totally missed that, definitely on me for not paying attention lol

Love the puzzle aspect, and the art is really cute! Super fun to play! My only suggestion is a button to reset the puzzle. Fantastic work!

Thank you for playing it! It's good to know the digging was intuitive enough (I'm someone who can sometimes blow past instructions too lol)

Nowhere else you can buy that many doggies for so few coins :p Thanks for playing!!

Thank you for playing!!

Visuals are incredible, the gameplay is super smooth, and the music really sets the ambience!

It's great to hear you had fun with it! Thanks so much for taking the time to share your experience with us!
