thanks for clearing that up! Your pdf has great examples embedded in each section, but would you ever consider doing an extended play example ?

Hello! Just a rules clarification. This is from Skill Test with Items on pg 30:

When performing certain skill tests, you may

come up with a solution that uses one or more

items in your inventory. When you do this, roll

the power dice of all items used as well as the

skill you are using with the items. If you roll a 1

for any items, they are permanently destroyed.

You only succeed at a test if your skill die result

is higher than the opposed die roll (beating or

rolling under an opposed die roll with an item’s

die roll does not count as succeeding or failing

a test).

Is the design idea that there are some actions that you cannot do without items, like scale a wall, and so, you need items to make it possible?

This looks so good. I appreciate the balance between terse resolution mechanics that are still complex enough to feel like theres weight without it being complicated. I also appreciate robust ancillary rules like your mapping system during exploration. Chefs kiss.

is this still in the works?

Was there was a change in your terms from (fast, balanced and slow) attacks vs (fast, normal, and slow) attacks? If so, I think pg 13 has old terms. Cheers!

Has anyone seen if there has been any Errant specific fan made supplements or materials? I'm loving the content and hoping to see a Jam or OGL material as well

Roughly, how much did it cost to print all of the cards through the company? I'd love to do this with standard Poker card size with dry/wet erase laminate!

Thanks Slade! I just listened to your interview from a few years ago on The Gauntlet. I appreciate your take on TIH and some of what it addresses in the space between DW and trad games. You said that you didn't like when indie games come out and the creator doesn't follow up with more support material. Now that it's been years, would you ever go back and make more like Noises? Or would you change/update portions of TIH?

Ps, I think The Gauntlet tried to force you to validate your design process in that interview and you did a great job clearly communicating your thoughts under pressure.

I love TIH. Are there ways for me to find more TIH content?

Has there been any jams or fan created content? I love this game so much and want to see if there are others that do too! Also, is there discord or reddit?

(1 edit)

Could someone write a custom class or maybe their own version of content as if it were an expansion to the .dungeon mmo? Like when mmo's come out with new maps and areas after a few years?
