The intent was for the other friend to begin climbing the rope. Not for them to climb to the top. I'll just rewrite this to be a better example.

I can definitely clarify that more. The initial intent was they were able to climb the rope but the problem was not the entire way up. I'll put a better example for the next iteration!

Edit: Current example I have to help clarify things that will be released in the next version...
"You manage to climb the rope but only get about half-way. There is a clump of black fluid that has shackled your feet together."
