I’ve been using Texture Bug  Grub and honestly really like it. The simplicity is a big part of why. It’s easy to jump into, quick to use, and does exactly the kind of texture cutting/skewing I was looking for without a bunch of extra junk getting in the way.

I did run into a bug though.

After loading a new image, the border I draw on the source image and the actual border of the texture it captures start drifting apart. It starts off small, but every time I load another image, the offset seems to get worse. After a while, the texture preview is clearly not lining up with the selection box I’m drawing.

Restarting the program fixes it, but only temporarily. Once I restart, everything lines up normally again, but after importing more images, the offset starts creeping back in.

I don’t know if it’s some kind of scaling/coordinate issue or something stacking in the background between image loads, but it definitely feels like something isn’t fully resetting when a new image gets loaded.

Wanted to mention it because I do genuinely like the tool and want to keep using it.
