I feel that, also, that's a good way to think of it. On the bright side we get to polish up our games a bit more. I've never worked on a horror game before so it'll be nice to have more time to improve the scariness level of mine. I'd love to check yours out when it's done! :)

Same here. I've made a few games but never participated in a game jam (let alone creating a whole game solo) and sadly my game is in a state a little too unplayable to be able to submit. I'll probably finish it and release it in a few days, but it's still disappointing. I spent way too much time trying to build the level, haha. I wish there were someplace for those of us who bit off a little more than we could chew to share our games with each other, even if they couldn't be judged.
