Not in this specific instance- did you have any suggestions? Always happy to hear feedback!

Love seeing more pico 8 games! Awesome work

Love all the sounds, and the art is great! Agree some kind of score or wave info would've been nice. Great work!

Thanks, I really appreciate it! I originally started with clicking X to flip through them, but after I skipped the follower I needed for the nth time I tried out something that let you flip through them with both directions- I do agree it is a little clunky though. Pico-8 is quite limited with its input, but I think the most intuitive scheme would have been WASD to look around, mouse scroller to scroll through followers and left click to sacrifice. Anyways- thanks again!

Thanks! I agree, maybe when the jams are over I'll look into adding one or two more things to do with followers.

Very cool take, lots of fun

This was great! Awesome work

Love the music, was able to use it in an entry that won trijam https://itch.io/jam/trijam-329/rate/3698495 as well as another game of mine!

Thanks for the feedback! This is something I'll have to think about going forward, Pico-8 is pretty limited but I had never considered how it would play on mobile

I have a Mac laptop, when I used Safari I had issues but on Chrome everything went fine and I was able to play! Great work btw

Thanks! It's more inspired by cellular automata than a direct implementation. I treat the world as a pixel grid with gravity, and water as a single pixel particle. Each frame, particles check if they can move down, or sideways if blocked, and otherwise stay put. Pretty simple, but it holds up well enough on Pico-8 if you keep particle counts under control.

Thanks, I was able to repurpose some cellular automata code from other work and add the gravity

Is one of these apple compatible

Cool idea! Only took a couple of tries but I could imagine expanding it for different planets/weights

The jetpack mechanic was cool!

Unfortunately going to your game page crashes my browser, could be a specific to me issue but wanted you to know!

Agree with the other comments, very fun and rewarding to figure it out, good job

This was fun, great job!

Really cool, impressive depth in the crafting system and a good mix of known+discovery. Agree on the asteroids tho, can appreciate your follow up comment though!

Was able to play the build, atmosphere/art is incredible! Saw the part where running low on time, levels/winning condition would be good additions though

Generally agree with the consensus here, concept and art are great!

Great music and I love the art!

Thanks for the feedback! I was able to release a new version of the game today following the jam. It should address most of these issues, including the level 10 and 11 locks, no more enemies spawn when a boss is present, and a rapid fire upgrade for more variety and to make things more manageable. If you have any more feedback would love to hear it!

Thanks for the feedback and glad you enjoyed! I will revisit some of those bugs and auto shooting mechanic post-jam. Just a quick note- holding down Z should shoot on repeat, hopefully allowing players to avoid key spamming!

Thanks, I definitely bit off more than I could chew for Trijam and it shows in some areas (like sound on Pico-8 lol), appreciate the feedback!

The sound effects were a great touch, good work!

Lots of great effects and game feel! Nice work!

The controls are very responsive, fun to play!

Thanks for the feedback! I will work on fixing these and a few other small things following the completion of the jam voting period. Hope you had fun!

Great work, love the assets!
