I like the idea of this, it reminds me of Netrunner (I need to play more of that...) but with a bit of education as well!

I love the goofy idea of this, haha. Next time I'm with a group of my friends I'm gonna try this if I remember, it'd be a hilarious party game!

Hell yea, I've bought so many books here that I've just read for their awesome content (Triangle Agency stands out for this), and this sits in that spot too...though I'd love to play it, haha.

I suppose 'playing solo' can be a couple things; I get what you mean (if I'm understanding right) with one character being overloaded, especially in any sort of crew environment. The other way I thought about is just playing multiple characters, which you can do with any game, and after typing this I sorta wonder why I asked!

Thanks for replying though, appreciate it. Hopefully I can grab this book sometime, just gotta let the wallet loosen a bit first.

I approve of rat

Title!

Is it playable solo? I REALLY love this game, and only just recently realized it was based on the game (I kickstarted it a while back, never played it yet though...), and am very interested! The hard part is getting other people who may be into it, and also actually running a game, cuz I'm...not great at that, haha. Mostly curious so I can at least enjoy it myself if I pick it up but no one wants to play/run it.

Somewhat related, I really wish I'd seen the High Frontier 4 All Kickstarter, cuz it seems like a way to get people into a super cool game.

My group used to play a random one-shot of this once a year or so and it always got absurd, was a great break from the campaign to be silly, weird, and dumb without issue.

Are there plans for other games by the same people? I was looking at their site and the Retail Magic one sounded really goofy too!

That works, that way I have an idea on what to expect. Thank you!

I'm interested in this, but I'm wary to buy it (I know it's only $2.50, I'm a broke bitch ;~;) because I have no idea what any of it looks like! I understand not showing much off though, since it's one-page and all.

Any way you could have previews of...something in the rules? Like I said, I understand not doing it, but it'd make me feel more comfortable about possibly buying!

I think it's a good idea to wait at least a little while, but not toooooo long. That way you can see some more feedback for clarifications (like the question about filling crew positions), typos, and other stuff to include.

Question (and maybe I missed it): say a Tanker, like the driver, is killed mid-battle...can the tank simply not move/stop moving, and is the position unusable for the rest of the mission, or can another Tanker take control of that station at the cost of their turn in their normal station?

Otherwise, like I said in my review I enjoy the layout and, besides a few minor grammatical issues here and there, think this is really cool! Can't wait to possibly play this one day, and thanks again for reuploading as .zip files!

Thank you! It lets me read and check this stuff at work, which is a great time killer. Appreciate ya!

I was wondering when the opposing modifiers thing would happen, haha. It wasn't a problem, but it was very funny...made me think of a very split crowd!

Heya, could you possibly put up a .zip version for extraction on computers where I can't use WinRAR? Excited to give this a go sometime in the future either way!

Will do, thanks!

This is hilarious and adorable, I love this art and concept, haha.

After another run I found mix results on if a plane would need rearming or not, but I think that was just unclear if it was actually able to intercept the enemy or not. Sometimes they came back uncolored for rearming, sometimes they didn't. Probably just me being dumb!

I was thinking it would be nice to have a sort of Combat Air Patrol (CAP)-style thing going on, that way you could preemptively handle an incoming enemy should you get caught off guard, or fail that, the ability to stage a plane or two to launch with a single key?

But with other changes to timing and such that might not be an issue, but it was definitely something I had been wanting while playing this. It also may have been my misunderstanding of planes, as it seemed like planes would land while retaining their color/armament, just needing refueling/repairing; I do enjoy the idea of deciding if you want to refuel now or later, it's something I picked up after a run or two!

Thanks for the quick reply, I wish you luck in your continuing development of this!

It's very hectic, but I can see some fun possibilities here! I'd love to see upgrades for faster taxi/rearm/refuel/repair times, additional landing slots, and stuff like that, as well as additional aircraft (maybe trading off fuel for longer lingering times but needs to rearm after each sortie?).

Would be great for more information to be present, like the amount of resources you get per minute/second or something like that. Additionally, being able to move buildings, or at least see what a 'rock' building is would be good, for adjacency bonuses.

After giving the browser version a shot I'm totally planning to stream this on Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/breenland) this week, if you're interested in swinging by! The idea of this is hilarious and unique, and the jiggle physics are just, *chef's kiss*.

If there's somewhere else to message or inform ya I can try to remember a ping there too. Always love having devs pop in while playing a game, it's super fun and cool.

I haven't taken a look at these, but the idea and effort of it are awesome! Having access to so many maps like this is great, good job.

I wanna but it says exception thrown! Maybe it'll work on another computer...

If this is the font I think it is, I love it! I use it in my stream, haha.

Grabbed a community copy, if I give it a play I'll make a review. Thanks for the opportunity and cool concept!

I love a good, goofy acronym.

Missed opportunity calling it Par-T-Rex!

It's been a fun time-killer at work, and not terribly unfair to your time! I hope you either continue work when able, or use what you learned to make another game similar to this. Best wishes to you, and good luck either way~

Why use AI art when there's so much good mech art out there??

I was waiting in the hope of possible seeing community copies, but after taking a closer look at the previews (and also getting paid a good amount for once, that helps) I am gonna buy this. The art and the idea is so fun, especially because I loooooved Control and enjoy this take on that style of game/world.

Eyyy, finally beat it! One of my friends beat it in one night and it took me way longer, so maybe I'm just dumb, haha

???????

This is a fun mix on a classic game! Would love to see this expanded, feels like you could do a lot with this if you wanted

Sounds good, I'll reach out to ya sometime this weekend!

Woah, rats! The art is super good here, surprised I missed this earlier! Now to get my hands on the expansion at some point...

I like this idea! Sent it to some of my friends who read a lot, and printed out a couple for a couple coworkers that read when we're not busy.

Good art helps seal the deal on a game, and AI art kills it; I'm glad this game is in the former! Def on my list of ones to grab once I get some spare money~

This is cute and I like the idea of being able to encounter one of the titular creatures in a D&D game. I can totally see this being used in other systems too by just swapping out the critters for something that works in whatever you're playing!

This is super cool, need to find more stuff like this to help with making worlds. One of my (many) biggest hangups is getting the world all made up, and this map helps take that away. Cool stuff!

I imagine this is workable with other hex-style maps? I recently saw another map called The Great Antartican Hex Crawl (I think) and figure this would be helpful to use in that!

Love Ace Attorney and love the idea of this, plus it's super cool of you for adding the "I wanna be an Ace" tier. Easy buy, good luck!
