Thanks!! i thought about that grid controlls too but i couldnt figure out how to code it and just returned to normal platformer style.

sorrryyyy the thumbnail was actually a placeholder when i was creating the project but i forgot to change it. the thumbnail should be different now also i checked the jam rules again and it seems like editing itch io page after the jam has ended is ok
